Who Are Linwood Fabrics?
Founded in 1994, Linwood is a British, family-run business that designs and produces fabrics, wallpapers, and cushions. Their collections blend classic English style with a contemporary spirit, resulting in timeless yet fresh designs.
Based in Hampshire, the fabric house creates unique collections featuring hand-drawn artwork inspired by textile archives, museums, the natural world, and even Persian art. Each design reflects the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and creativity.
Sustainability & Manufacturing
Linwood places strong emphasis on creativity, innovation, durability, and sustainability. Working with trusted mills across Britain and Europe, they combine traditional techniques with modern materials to deliver high-quality textiles.
The brand is dedicated to developing more sustainable and environmentally responsible fabrics. This includes ranges made from recycled materials, such as Lana, spun from recycled Italian wool.

From the first sketch to the finished fabric, each design has a story and embodies Linwood’s spirit of creativity and practicality, whether upholstered onto a piece of furniture, or tailor made into curtains.
Linwood’s embodies their commitment to responsible production, by partnering with specialist mills and printers to ensure high quality colourfastness, strength and minimal environmental impact.
The Omega range is an exemplary example of this. A gorgeously soft yet durable plain velvet suitable for both contract and domestic environments. This fabric is provided with an eco-friendly, non-fluoro stain resistant finish for added protection. Available in 154 colourways, this fabric is perfect for upholstery, curtains, boxed and scatter cushions. This iconic velvet has also been used as a base cloth for printed velvet designs in the Omega prints range.
